So, when I found out I was leaving for Europe 2 days before Harry Potter was being released I was really sad. Well good news, I went to see it tonight with my cousin in Berlin. Even better news, they sell beer in the theater. Interesting news, they actually have a red curtain they draw in front of the movie screen and everyone has assigned seats like in a real theater. Also, before the movie starts ushers come by and sell ice cream. On a bad note, right when the movie was getting good the screen cut out and my cousin informed me it was intermission...what? I wanted to know what happens to Harry! Oh well, another beer i guess ;). After the movie we stopped by a little club to see a DJ friend of hers. I forgot how much fun it was to go dancing in Berlin. Everyone is so free. There was this awesome guy in metallic doc martins workin' it. On top of that it was behind a Korean restaurant called the Angry Chicken. I just thought that was funny After we danced and ingested some interested Korean liquor we left the club, and guess what!, we got another beer...mmmm...german beer :) On the way home this guy from Bologna started walking with us and told us how he had just flown down from Italy to surprise his Russian girlfriend but she wasn't home so he had been walking around for the past 6 hours. It is now 4am here and he is hoping that when he goes back to his girlfriend's house she is not with another man. He was an interesting guy :). What an interesting and crazy first night in Berlin! Well it is almost 6am here so I should probably get some sleep....Chow!
